The class is designed to better inform patrol officers of the intricacies of auto theft and vehicle identification. The course will cover task force history and responsibilities, auto theft related laws and crimes, personal, commercial and recreational vehicle identification and auto theft prevention.

Critical Incident Peer Support for Law Enforcement: A Foundational Course

This is a 2-day course with four modules, role-playing activities, video interviews, and scenario discussions. Funded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance, the objective of the Critical Incident Peer Support for Law Enforcement course is to train the officer to be able to offer support, or psychological first aid, to their fellow officers. This course is composed of seven units and is designed build upon the skills acquired during each unit. Critical words and phrases that the student must completely master during deal with safety and command and control during responses to a potentially dangerous incident and key phrases and words that may be used in a variety of situations.
