It is also a key role for ICs and those coordinating EOCs, as well as those assigned to that position.  Additionally, it is open Statewide, so please get your key personnel signed up as soon as possible. Course Overview
This course is designed to provide local and state-level emergency responders with a robust understanding of the duties, responsibilities, and capabilities of an effective LOFR on an All-Hazards Incident Management Team. Exercises, simulations, discussions, and a final exam enable students to process and apply their new knowledge.

Course Objectives
The purpose of the NIMS ICS All-Hazards Position Specific Training Program is to provide a portion of the training that may be needed to establish Type III and IV Incident Management Teams (IMTs). This training program is designed to provide all-hazards competencies and behaviors for the eight Command and General Staff and selected Unit Leader positions within the NIMS Incident Command System and specifically within the Incident Management Team environment.

Prerequisites & Other Information:

Course Prerequisites
IS 100, 200, 700 & 800; ICS 300, and ICS 400 (now required as of 01 October 2013)   All certificates must be uploaded to your www.preparingtexas.org  account before your application is forwarded to the Local Training Coordinator for processing considerations.

Course Special Requirements
NIMS ICS All-Hazards Position Specific training should be completed by personnel who are currently members of Type III or Type IV Incident Management Teams, or by those seeking credentials/certification for ICS Command and General Staff or Unit Leader positions.

Note for all Students

All students must complete the attached FEMA 119-25 (with SID) and have it signed by yourself and your supervisor and bring to class. The FEMA SID has replaced the SSN on all DHS Classes. If you do not have a SID you can go to: https://training.fema.gov/EMI/ and click on the link for FEMA SID.
